The WampServer - A solution to local server-side scripting

Since I started developing web applications, its been all about phpDev, as a server. But lately I realized that doing the upgrades from php4 to php5 sometimes sucks and jams the whole stuff with a lyrics of error messages. WampServer, the best windows development environment - voted 2009 gave me a breathe of relief.

WampServer is a Windows web development environment. It allows you to create web applications with Apache, PHP and the MySQL database. It also comes with PHPMyAdmin to easily manage your databases.

WampServer installs automatically (installer), and its usage is very intuitive. You will be able to tune your server without even touching the setting files.

WampServer is the only packaged solution that will allow you to reproduce your production server. Once WampServer is installed, you have the possibility to add as many Apache, MySQL and PHP releases as you want.

As a software with some previous trails, it comes with some drawbacks:
WARNING : do not try to install WampServer 2 over WAMP5.
If WAMP5 is installed on your computer, save your data, uninstall it and delete the WAMP5 directory before installing WampServer 2.

To get to know about this state-of-the art development environment, visit the WampServer site.

It maybe interesting to know that the WampServer is powered by ANASKA

Dishonest scheme

It's not been easy trying to get this eliminated. It has become similar to a terroristic scheme. I hope we try to get this done come 2010. Read more on this article: BBC News | Technology

Judgment Day (a ʇsıʍʇ in time)

Let's try to do some reasoning on a ʇsıʍʇ in time. Back in the BC's we know of people such as Noah who lived for about 900 years and also Abraham who lived for a couple of crazy years too I think. Then there was a stipulation that one day, this world would come to an end. This stipulation was made relative to the time and the ticking clocks of the BC's.

It is now scientifically proven that, a human cell cannot last for more than 200 years, despite the number of mitotic and meotic operations it perfroms. This means that a human being can't leave as long as in the BC's. This brings about the question of the time scalling. Does it mean we use a different time scalling from those in the BCs or what causes us not to leave as long as those in the BCs did. Carrying out some archaeological studies, I found out that the difference actually comes with the time scaling . What we consider a month today was actually a year in the BCs and the difference between a month today and a year in the BCs is about 4days, 22minutes and 17.23 seconds.

So to this effect does it mean the world would end earlier than was stipulated? No. What has happened is just a matter of altering the count and not changing the events. Hence after intense calculations with very few but dangerous assumptions. I found out that the world has to end on a February 30th but our ancestors adjusted our time scalings and made sure that this date never appears in any "calendar". What they did was just "the principle of conservation of the truth", for it still holds that on a February 30th, all will come to an end. The question I am trying to answer now it on what year, relative to the current time scalling.

Php Framework

CODEIGNITER

Having been invovled in the development of web applications for the past three years. I have always dreamt of an object oreinted PHP. Little did I know that I was dreaming reality. Codeigniter (CI) had been born. The procedural nature of php has been virtually buried, with the invent of Codeigniter.

Codeigniter is a PHP framework which gives php an object oriented lift with a small foot print. For coders who need to develop state-of-the art and ellegant web applications, you are 50% done with the codeigniter framwork. Proper documentation and starter kits are avaliable even for coders who have never experienced object programming before. PHP has always been an essential tool in web development but its procedural nature bored many web developers away. Thanks to the invent of codeigniter; we're back.

Codeigniter has the ability to accept new plugins inorder to enhance the existing framework and this is one of the most interesting stuff with this framework since you can build your own plugin, customise and integrate into your application. This facility also gives a smile to those who adore javascript. You can do it all with codeigniter. I love you lol !!! :)

For more on this framework, Visit http://www.codeigniter.com and you can always your questions answered at the Forum.

I would say bravo! to the team behind this Framework and more grease to their palms!

Just Me!

Hi to my bloggers. My parents decided to call me Tata Cyril and my Co-os decided to call me Zlatann (Slim T). I am a mathematician from the University of Buea with a Bachelor of science degree. I had a diplom in computer science too and studied webdeveloping as a field of interest.

I am a free-lance webdeveloper and I have worked for AfroVisioN Group since June 2006 and also for Clonemultimedia since December 2008. In order to get a web application done, you can get to me @gmail with username 'mactats' (mactats@gmail.com). These two firms have done interesting and interactive web applications and a couple of websites for large businesses, small firms and individuals world wide. Visit the projects page of these firms (AfroVisioN/projects & Clonemultimedia/Projects and other services) to have an idea of what they can offer.

Presently, I find myself in the University of L'Aquila studying mathematical modelling in Engineering, under the Erasmus Mundus Program.

It is always kicking on facebook at Zlatann's Page.
